Ten years of the Acadie Rock Festival represented by 10 visual artists: Alisa Arsenault, Jacques Arseneault, Mathieu Léger, Angèle Cormier, Angie Richard, Marjolaine Bourgeois, Frédéric Gayer, Jennifer Bélanger, Emma Delaney and Blake Morin.
Each artist was randomly assigned an edition of the festival (2012 to 2021) to inspire their work. Using visuals, images, videos, posters and programming, the artists were given carte blanche to create a poster reflecting the spirit of each year of the festival.
The posters will be on display on Imago’s gallery wall on the first floor of the Aberdeen Cultural Centre from August 13th to 31st. The vernissage will take place on Friday, August 13 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in conjunction with Maryse Arseneault’s exhibition and the inauguration of the 2nd floor art gallery at 5:30pm.
