WHO WAS BERNARD LEBLANC?

Born in l’Anse aux Cormier in 1943, in the beautiful Memramcook Valley, Bernard LeBlanc devoted his life to theatre and Aberdeen Cultural Centre. Considered a pioneer of theatre and artistic creation in Acadia, Bernard LeBlanc was one of the founding members of Théâtre l’Escaouette. Throughout his professional career in theatre as in film, he moved us and gave us pause while leading us to discover profoundly sincere and captivating characters. He died in 2007.
