L’équipe de Solo Chicken Productions est ravie d’annoncer que sa première pièce de théâtre réalisée par The Coop, A RECORD OF US, fera sa première tournée au Nouveau-Brunswick au début du mois de juin 2018! La compagnie présentera cette pièce inaugurale à Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton, et Sackville, où de nouveaux partenariats ont été initiés avec le Saint John Theatre Company, le Centre culturel Aberdeen, et Live Bait Theatre. A RECORD OF US a été créé à partir du texte de l’auteur Néo-Brunswickois David Adams Richards, comme une catalyse et a donné lieu à une représentation théâtrale physique qui évoque la beauté brute, l’humour durable et les réalités difficiles de la vie dans cette province.
A RECORD OF US, pièce de théâtre dirigée par Lesandra Dodson et Lisa Anne Ross, présente les travaux collaboratifs de Jean-Michel Cliche, Kira Chisholm, Alex Donovan, Ian Goff, Alexa Higgins, et Lexi McCrae. La tournée inclue le directeur technique Trent Logan, et la régisseuse Dee Chiasson.
A RECORD OF US a été présentée sur la scène principale du NotaBle Acts Theatre Festival en 2016 et a été créé en résidence avec Charlotte Street Arts Centre, et le Fredericton Playhouse. La création de A RECORD OF US a commencé au printemps 2015 quand Lesandra Dodson et Lisa Anne Ross a monté the coop, qui est un collectif d’artistes professionnels qui recherchent, développent et exécutent des œuvres originales de théâtre physique tout en soutenant la croissance artistique des artistes émergents du Nouveau-Brunswick. Cette pièce célèbre le travail d’une nouvelle génération d’artistes du Nouveau-Brunswick qui ont maintenant une influence dans leur domaine – depuis la création on 2016, les membre de the coop ont été occupés à répéter et créer du théâtre partout au Canada et sont ravis de revenir à Fredericton pour partager leur travail à travers la province.

Moncton, NB – Solo Chicken Productions is excited to announce that they are taking the coop’s inaugural work, A Record of Us, on the road for their first tour of New Brunswick. In early June the company will perform their inaugural work in Fredericton, Saint John, Moncton and Sackville, forging new partnerships with Saint John Theatre Company, the Aberdeen Centre, and Live Bait Theatre. A Record of Us was created using the text of celebrated New Brunswick author David Adams Richards as the catalyst, resulting in a physical theatre performance that evokes the raw beauty, enduring humour, and hardscrabble realities of life in this province.
A Record of Us premiered as a main stage offering at the 2016 NotaBle Acts Theatre Festival and was created through residency opportunities with Charlotte Street Arts Centre, and the Fredericton Playhouse. The creation of A Record of Us began in the spring of 2015 when Lesandra Dodson and Lisa Anne Ross first launched the coop, which is a performance collective for professional artists to research, develop and perform original works of physical theatre while supporting the artistic growth of emerging NB artists through training and performance opportunities. This piece celebrates the work of a new generation of NB artists who are now making a resounding impact in their field – since the premiere in 2016 the coop company members have been busy training and creating theatre across Canada and are thrilled to be returning to Fredericton to share the work across the province.
