L’intimité spectacle:
“… With this project, I seek to satirically reflect the bourgeois interior by installing mouldings and wall boxes on the gallery walls. In recent work, I have found that moulding – applied in a non-domestic place – can radically change the reading of this place, making it immediately closer to home. The wall elements will therefore be affixed, partly, in a traditional way (that is to say toward the bottom of the walls, at their mid-height, etc.), but also, more freely in order to create lines and patterns on the walls of the space. All the frames, mouldings and boxes will be gilded. Images, photographs and videos will be presented through the wall boxes and through the drawings created by the various mouldings…”
